In addition to his work at Hub City Station Event Center, Tony also manages Lafayette Casino down the road, as well as period bookkeeping work at Heartland Casino, and servicing Amusement Service ATMs. He has a degree in Audio Engineering from the Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis.

Talent booking and event staff

Liza is the in-house organizer, setting up performances for musicians, comedians, and more at Hub City Station. She holds a master’s degree in creative writing and teaches private writing classes in our very own space. She can be reached for booking inquiries at hubcitystation@gmail.com.

Art Coordinator and event staff

Diane was a schoolteacher in Aberdeen at May Overby Elementary for 25 years, before becoming Education Director for the Iditarod® sled dog race in Alaska; a position in which she thrived for nearly two decades. She has recently proven herself as a visual artist and heads up Hub City Station’s art community.

Mark opened the Heartland Casino in the early ‘90s with ten machines. Three decades later, his business has expanded to nearly 40 machines at Heartland, and another twenty-machine casino down the road at Lafayette Casino. His goal has always been to bring “A Little Bit of Vegas” right here to Aberdeen. The opening of the event center to host a variety of entertainment and events brings him another step closer to the realization of that goal.
